is an active list, it is not surprising that you have received that many
messages. No legal action is required to stop receiving them. Since you
apparently did not really want to subscribe, just unsubscribe.
Complete directions for doing so are included in the message you quoted;
just substitute your own account name as needed.

I think we need someone to run an autoreply to privately reply to someone whenever
"unsubscribe" is mentioned in a listpost. t'would reduce the frustration on
