Then the wiki page needs to be updated. 256MB RAM for Windows XP is just
plain silly ridiculous, and any system with that little RAM will be dog
slow. Some Linux distros would be fine with that much, but others would
need more as well.

It will work, yes - but it will be as slow as molasses.
