Thanks Andrew for the document. I've tested it here (go-ooo, OOO320m12, Build 9483)
I have here a en-US installation (I guess, I should switch at some time to German, would be a lot easier for me...) 2010/8/21 Harold Fuchs <[email protected]>: > On 21 August 2010 19:07, Sigrid Carrera <[email protected]>wrote: > >> Harold, >> >> 2010/8/21 Harold Fuchs <[email protected]>: >> > On 21 August 2010 17:22, Andrew Douglas Pitonyak <[email protected] >> >wrote: >> > [...] >> >> I saved the document and opened it. My findings in this matter: When I open the document, that I received from Andrew, the cursor (and the start view of the document) is on the first page in the very beginning. This does seem to work as intended. ( http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=94925 describes this). My next test was to change something in the document. I added a few words on the second page, saved the document and closed it. After reopening the document the document view was correctly on the second page, but the cursor was not where I left it. It was a few characters before. So this I would consider a bug and it might be useful to open an issue for this. I do have my name entered in the user data (Tools > Options), so it should work correctly.
