Is there still a way for people to unsubscribe if their (subscribed)
incoming address is different from their outgoing address?

    I just tried emailing sy...@openoffice.org
<mailto:sy...@openoffice.org> with "help" in the subject, to check
this for myself, and received the following bounce message:

Not very helpful... This is a dynamic IP address which was not
assigned to me at Wed, 02 Mar 2011 11:20:54 +0100 - our router
wasn't even switched on at that time.

    Mark.

I think this error is specific to yourself. When I tried 'help' in the
subject line to the same address I got the list of commands that are
available.

I'm having the same spam block problem, and have had to switch mail server. I'd guess most don't have a choice though. manitu looks to be bad news.

It's apparently possible to send sympa a message saying something like
unsubscribe users m...@mydomain.org
or
unsubscribe * y...@yourdomain.net

if the subscribed address is different from that currently in use. I assume that the confirm message would go to the subscribed address, which should be OK.
