Both the forums and this mailing list are being disestablished. Oracle (which bought Sun) has divested itself of OpenOffice.org to the Apache group[1]. There is also a fork of OpenOffice.org called LibreOffice[2]. LibreOffice has released updates to the latest offering from the OpenOffice.org website. Both have mailing lists, LibreOffice lists are found under "Get Involved - Be a generally-active community member". I do not use forums so cannot help there.
