I only have 3 boxes running here, this one still stuck at FC2 although FC4 is on the horizon, my firewall box, running RH7.3 (I don't 'fix' what ain't broke), and a test box that belongs in the workshop out in the back yard, but is currently sitting on my pool table in the basement, running FC4 & seti like the other 2 are. When I wanted networking in the shop, I just hung a piece of cat5 from the porch roof to the shop roof. Its been hanging there for 2 years & still worked the last time I checked. I didn't want to put in a private, this side of the firewall 802-11 link, mainly because theres not a heck of a lot private about 802-11. But I suppose I'll have to at some point... The 'shop' box will eventually run my micromill, using emc. At least thats the plan :) The missus isn't quite what I'd call computer literate, a retired music teacher, so I'm (70, mostly retired from broadcast engineering) the only user on these boxes. -- Cheers, Gene "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
