Thanks for the tip, Chuck. I will have to try it and see which way I prefer. I signed up for the email interface because I'm a compulsive information hoarder and I can't stand the thought of not downloading every single message there is available. Ultimately, though, I'm probably spending too much time reading everything and will have to discipline myself to ignore stuff that I really don't need to read.
For now, though, I'm hoping I will find tips that I never would have thought of on my own for using OOo, since all my computer magazines have tips only for Microsoft Office. Over the years, I had picked up almost everything advanced that I know about MS Office from those articles, and this list is probably my best shot at doing the same for OOo.
