Guy,

Never got the splash screen.

Already tried removing OO.o by removing it from the Applications folder and
reinstalling it. Are there any other user or system files I need to delete
in order to completely uninstall the program?

I will try starting OO.o by opening an associated file, and let you know if
it works.

Thanks,
Palmer

Hi

I tried to simulate the situation you describe, but it only happens on my
iMac when I have an OOo document minimized in the Dock...

• Do you ever get to see the blue starting-up window with the two gulls
and
a blue line indicating progress of opening the program - otherwise I'm
afraid OOo wasn't installed properly, in which case you better de- and
re-install...

• Have you tried starting OOo by control-clicking (or right-clicking) on a
text document (or spreadsheet, presentation, etc.), chosing 'Open with'
and
indicating OOo as the application to work with?
