Just installed OO.oo 2 and..now that OO.oo 2 is installed how do I get all the stuff from OO.oo 1 into OO.oo 2? I haven't a clue as to what I did or what I should do next. I really like OO.oo.as program and especially those good souls who help illiterates such as myself. Thanks-Vince
Vince, it depends on what you mean by "all the stuff". If it's the files you made with OOo 1, one of the advantages of OpenOffice is that newer versions can always read the files made with earlier versions. You only gain new features... If you mean other "stuff" like dictionaries, templates and styles... somebody else will have to answer. Since OOo 2 doesn't install itself on top of OOo 1, but rather in another map, I suspect that your settings aren't automatically copied from one version to the other (I only have OOo 2 installed). -- Guy
