When I mentioned I was computer illiterate it is unfortunately true.
By platform I hope you mean I'm using Mac Power PC G5. What do you
mean by ,
Just open your OOo1 files from OOo2 and you can re-save them as OOo2 format.
I use default all the way. I don't change settings if I can't change
back. Right now it's files I'm after. I'm just starting on OO.oo
documentation

example of an old dog facing new tricks. Thanks for your help.

First of all, what platform are you using, and what do you mean by
"get all the stuff from OOo1 into OOo 2"? Do you mean files or
settings? Files are easy. OOo 2 is backwards compatible.

Just installed OO.oo 2 and..now that OO.oo 2 is installed how do I
get all the stuff from OO.oo 1 into OO.oo 2? I haven't a clue as to
what I did or what I should do next. I really like OO.oo.as
program and especially those good souls who help illiterates such as
myself.
Thanks-Vince
