a) Don't. It's better than MS Office, at least in many people's opinion.
b) Why would you want to? OpenOffice can read and write MS office documents,
it's free, well supported and there's a new version, 2.0.4, with many
improvements over the version you probably have.
If you really must then first make sure the Quickstarter is not running -
grey icon in the System Tray: right click it and select Exit. Now use
Add/Remove programs to remove OpenOffice.
