I was sure that this type of printing is known as 'booklet' printing
and is dependant on the printer, not OOo. I've printed booklets using
OOo where it is supported by the printer quite happily.

Can you not do this using the File|Print print dialog options as
described in Chapter 5 of the 02OOWG-WriterGuide.PDF manual?
