Maybe I'm not seeing it, but it still doesn't let OpenOffice open and
save those files, or am I missing something.

I just managed to initiate the download using Linux version of Firefox, so browsers don't appear to be a total obstacle.

I notice that they say it will also work with the Microsoft Office Word Viewer 2003, Excel Viewer 2003, and PowerPoint Viewer 2003, so Windows users should be able to at least view these files. Has anyone given that a try? Looking at the description, it appears that only copying or printing is available from the viewers.
