Carlos, there is no Outlook built into OpenOffice.org. Email programs
are traditionally not a part of an Office Productivity Suite.

Having said that, OpenOffice.org is developing tighter integration with
Mozilla Thunderbird and Lightning/Sunbird all the time. You may want to
try Thunderbird for email, Thunderbird with Lightning for email with a
PIM or Sunbird for a stand alone PIM.

Now if you mean that you have Outlook and any files you send as
attachments are not able to be read at the other end then you should
ask what programs the recipient has. OpenOffice.org can save files in
many formats in addition to the ISO International Standard ODF formats.
It also has PDF export.
