I was wondering that, too. If so, it would seem that if ezmlm got a
message from an unsubscribed user, it could add that user into the
Reply-To field, and a normal reply would then go to the list and the
unsubscribed user. It apparently already knows the user is unsubscribed
(or could, if it doesn't) so subscribed users wouldn't get copies to
their personal accounts, but the unsubscribed posters would. Sounds like
a pretty neat solution to most of the problem.
