Track changes has not changed, but yes, notes are indeed now displayed
on the side of the page.

Alphabetical indexes already exist Insert > Indexes and Tables >

MS Word allows you for example to see the text as it is formatted, to
see also the body text level or at least a few lines of it has a nicer
interface with one button for each level and so on... as much as I
like and support OpenOffice.org, in this particular area MS Office is
really a lot ahead.
Interestingly, the Outline View is one of the most requested features
(180 votes) as well as one of the oldest request for enhancement,
created in 2002.

I have seen a grammar checker in Pavel's build but I haven't tried it
and I am not sure if it covers the English language.
If you want to try Pavel's build rather than the official Sun build
