Hi Cristiano, hi all I wanted to thank you for this discussion because I realized the true path of servicemix and Karaf. Two words on my personal experience. After starting to use Servicemix, I switched to Karaf because I used only the OSGi core. Recently I came-back to Servicemix for convenience since I started using spring-orm and ActiveMQ. My goal, however, is to use Karaf or with a custom distribution or with a feature since in this way I have more flexibility on the libraries version.
In conclusion, I agree with the proposed strategy, and I'm available to help with developments.
