Note that http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/jackrabbit/trunk/jackrabbit-aws-ext implements S3 storage for Jackrabbit, you might be able to reuse some of that. The alternative is to create a DynamoDB backend for Oak, which combined with that would give you DynamoDB + S3 with no changes at the Sling level. -Bertrand
