I'm not sure how all this relates to the original question in this thread, but you CAN bring issues to Apple, using: http://radar.apple.com/ for bug-reports & enhancements requests. And then vendors of CalDAV / CardDAV clients or servers can join CalConnect, in which Apple is a member and active participant (alongside many others - huge and small [http://tinyurl.com/654428v]).
