Really? I do this all the time.. However, you better make sure that the machine is running a working DNS server when you do this. If it's not, then putting 127.0.0.1 in resolv.conf WILL break SA.


Unlike a lot of other apps, SA's methods of calling DNS don't seem to always query all the DNS servers listed in resolv.conf, so make sure the first one is a valid entry.
