Now a host with more than one interface might have more than one helo
name. But that's not 1000:1 kind of ratios.
There is no requirement that limits the number of helonames, as far as
they all resolve to the outgoing IP. Some hosters want this so that
outgoing mail contains per-customer headers. They may be wrong, but
it'll be hard to convince them that they are.
