I'm not a guru regarding tomcat system ops .. I'm trying to hold down the fort until one of the really knowledgeable folks chimes-in if we can't figure it out. :)
try setting path = "/mycontext" Also, I'm not sure how tomcat is going to resolve the names to service configurations and whatnot .. I tend to defer to spelling this stuff out directly when I can.
