Hi Chris, going to tomcat home page I can see no link to tomcat 9.1 docs

Where I can find more details on

Tomcat 9.1 will continue to support Java EE but will break some rules that Tomcat 9.0 has, such as the minimum Java version and the removal of APR connector flavors.

and any other relevant changes in 9.1

Maybe the link was already sent on the list but I cannot find it.

The answer is further down in the thread:

To clarify: support for Tomcat 9.0.x will end in 2027, but Tomcat 9.1.x will be immediately supported for .. a long time after that.

9.1 _will be_ available around the EOS time for 9.0 - this will come with breakage of the rules (and potentially others) mentioned above.

+1

Tomcat 9.1.0 (?) will basically be Tomcat 9.0.129.

The March 2027 release of Tomcat 9.0.x will probably be 9.0.128 (October should be 9.0.123, add 5 months to get to March 2027). The release the following month will be ( Tomcat 9.0.129 - AJP - Java 8 ) = Tomcat 9.1.0.

Correction (more details in my CoC talk later this week - that will be added to the presentations section of the website when available)

Tomcat 9.1.0 =
     Tomcat 9.0.129 - APR/Native connector - Native 1.3.x support
(Native 2.0.x support for OpenSSL will continue)

The first 9.1.0 release will be (effectively) just another point release. The minor version is changing because APR/Native connector support is being removed.

Yes! I'm sorry I said AJP and meant APR. libtcnative is still there, but without the APR connector itself.
