Hi Steven, Yes, as Thomas just replied, XEclipse works with Eclipse 3.4 (Ganymede) and above.
Latest version of Eclipse is 3.5 (Galileo). Your 3.3.2 eclipse installation is most likely the cause of the problem and I recommend, if possible, to upgrade your eclipse installation, otherwise you will most likely be unable to use XEclipse. I have updated http://xeclipse.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/Installation with this information and made the adjustments you pointed out regarding the unzip directory.
