Well it appears that a similar thing happened to me. The WUSB11 v2.6 appears to have a non-Prism chipset, but it is supported by the atmel drivers. Well, at least it sort of is. Airfart won't run on it anyway... but I did manage to get on-line and surf the web a la Campbell's.
I'm not really sure how to increase the verbosity of the prism2_usb driver. It sure would be nice though. Anyone know how? --Dave <quote who="Michael Halcrow"> > I'm stuck with a useless PCI Linksys WMP11... the one where Linksys > swapped out the Prism chipset for a Broadcom chipset (no drivers, no > specs) without changing anything on their packaging. > > I am, however, successfully using the wlan drivers for my Linksys PCMCIA > card. This may seem like a silly question, but have you increased the > verbosity level of your drivers and checked the logs? What do they say? ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://phantom.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list
