I believe these are tools for creating ntfs partitions and other advanced
things. If you just want to read from an ntfs partition, you only need the
kernel driver (redhat has just about everything compiled as a module. i think
'modprobe ntfs' as root will work... i have it compiled in so i'm not sure).
