I just don't like it.  This seems like a cut and paste script that was
applied to something perceived as bad.  Saying that portscanning is entirely
"evil" is tantamount to saying that all books are evil because some of them
contain unappropriate material.

Maybe you should continue this "kind of behavior" so you could talk with
someone in the honor code office.  Tell them that portscanning is not a
purely evil thing.  While you're at it, tell them that not all books are
evil either and they shouldn't burn them (just incase they were thinking
about it, you gotta wonder if it has ever come up in one of their meetings).
