Okay, the latest thread has gotten people talking about distros again. 
I hear a lot about distros in this manner, but just to get a feel for
things, I'd be interested to see what distros everyone uses for their
different machines.  Even a plug for why that distro is used for that
particular machine would be useful.  I use Debian for both my
workstation and my server.  I use it on my server because its very easy
to install the minimum functionality, and I am forced to learn about
something before I "apt-get" it to my computer.  It makes me feel like I
have a little more control over what's going on on my machine.  For the
desktop workstation, I have used Debian for the same reasons as the
server, but also because my machine is rather slow, and it seems to
handle it better than other distros like Redhat 9, which I had on there
temporarily.  Plus I like Debian's apt/dpkg.
