I have a computer running slackware
8.5 here in the dorms, and I can’t seem to get it talk to the outside
world. It will let me browse the
internet in KDE, but that’s it, as far as external communication
goes. It worked fine in the dorms last
year, same hardware. I even reinstalled slackware today in hopes that it’d alleviate the
problem, but it’s still happening.
I tried swapping between 3 NIC’s, and
each of them has done it L this is funky. Any ideas? Or is
there anymore information y’all need? Thanks! Jay |
