I should have sent this yesterday. I did in fact get my coworker's wireless
working. I did the following (I abbreviated it quite a bit but if you want
nitty gritty details, holler) just in case anyone is interested:
1. I added a section to /etc/pcmcia/config that was basically the output of
cardctl ident. I had to make sure the manfid was correct, etc., etc.
2. I then edited /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opts and added a corresponding entry for
the stuff I had just added to config.
3. Finally I created ifcfg-eth0 (see Phil's post cuz I did the same thing only I
named it eth0) and then aliased the eth0 to orinoco_cs.

The only hiccup I had was trying to get the card's service fired up before the
network service. I edited /etc/init.d/pcmcia to change that but it still
doesn't start before the system looks for eth0 and fails. However, as soon as
you do a quick /sbin/ifup eth0, there are no problems.
