My only experience installing wireless under linux /was/ easy. I popped my PCMCIA card in, it DHCP'd for an address and I was off. Granted WEP wasn't turned on so that simplified things. But it *is* possible to have that level of ease in installing. Maybe I just got a really good card (Lucent orinoco chipset) and a really good distro (Debian).
