I decided to go back to Gentoo (when you read this, read it like it rhymes with gimp, because that's how I say it (ha, Phil)). I don't get any of the errors that I had before at all, and my computer boots up and has everything running in far less time than windows on the same machine (this is a first for me).
Now I have fluxbox and XFCE-4 installed, and they load oh so fast. All I have to do is figure out what other goodies I need/want to install. Oh and has anyone tried to make their computer have a boot progress bar (i.e. the Gentoo Live! Cd)? ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list
