I've been looking to upgrade my digital camera so I've been reading a lot of 
reviews lately.  The two best cameras I've narrowed it to are at the upper 
end of your price range.  The minolta Dimage Z1 can be had for $300 if you 
shop around and the Fuji S5000 can be found for nearly the same.  Both are 
excellent cameras with 10x optical zoom and good video capability limited 
only by your card capacity(not internal memory buffer).  The best places for
