At that point, the recommended reinstall procedure is to run
knx-hdinstall.  You will have to type ``apt-get'' instead of
``emerge'' though from that point.  You may find that your software
installs much more quickly, your system will be more stable, and you
will for some reason suddenly feel more free.  ;-)

Oh, and it's ``panicking'', not ``panicing''.
