I half agree, I layed the framework to say more than I ultimately did.
After deciding to cut it short, I should have removed the parts that
were written in preparation of saying more.

"The philosopher" was wrong. The group has deliberately kept the name
BYU UUG, instead of the more restrictive BYU LUG. We discuss a wide
range of topics. The common thread is BYU and a loose relationship to
Unix. (Free Software, Linux, *BSD, etc.) If you're been here for more
than three months, you should know that by now. Don't expect the
community to change.

If you don't like it, you're welcome to use the delete key or
unsubscribe and find another list. Or, shocker, actually posting
something more than a complaint. If you want to discuss something else,
post!
