I definitely agree that the open nature of the group makes it great. I
never truly knew the definition of a flame war until I joined the UUG.
:-)

But, I declare that tomorrow (Friday, Nov 7 2003) be on-topic and
flameless. I know the term on-topic is extremely vague, but that's
ok. :-)
