It seems like doing it constantly might be asking a lot of us.  Perhaps we
could have it no-flame, on-topic (nfot?) most days or weeks, but
occasionally open it up for whatever banter we care to engage in?  Maybe:

one week a month
only on the fifth full week of the month
one day a week
only on national holidays
only the week of national holidays
only the day of, before, and after national holidays
only on days when school isn't in session
or only when the moon is new or full?
