Don't worry. I've resolved to no longer respond to these threads. That
means that for the next month, until I break down and start responding
again, UUG traffic should be roughly halved.

Yes, but with IM we get accused of having a secret elite society.

IRC, on the other hand, is a nice little forum for friendly banter and
has at least a few times prevented me from firing off an off-topic
reply. Come one, come all to #utah on irc.freenode.net![1] If you don't
know how to use IRC, it's easy. There'll be no better time than now to
join.[2] Plus, if you sign on in the next 30 minutes, you'll receive a
free introduction to ibot use and abuse.

[1] Debian users need not apply. Only Debian bashing will be allowed.
Join me as I try to re-educate hans.

[2]  Michael Halcrow does not frequent #utah. This means you won't have 
listen to him sell IBM products or suggest Debian to unsuspecting
victims. After we've converted Hans Fugal, we'll see if we can lure
mhalcrow into #utah.
