I suppose while we're on the topic, I can ask a question I've been wondering about lately.
Is there a card that exists that anyone may know of that has a component out (not composite) that will display all screen information? Instead of outputting the desktop on VGA or DVI, it could output on component. I may be missunderstanding, perhaps all cards with component out (or even s-video) will output all screen information on those wires; please correct me if so. Ultimately, I'd like to output computer desktop, standard video, HD video and whatever else a computer can display to my HDready TV through one set of component wires. I'd rather not use a converter box. Do I also need to take into consideration the abilities of the card (ie Can it output any resolution 1080i, 540p, 720p, 480p? or should any card with a component output be able to display these resolutions?). Oh, and last of all, does an antena (not a tuner) need to be special to be able to receive broadcast HD signals. I didn't believe so, but some supposed HD tech at BestBuy says definitely yes. Any info would be helpfull.
