I've been using godaddy.com for a long while (2 years)
no problem at all and they are really cheap ($8.95). I
know you don't want a full server right now but I'm
using a VPS (Virtual Private Server) with a good
company (http://rimuhosting.com/) and you can get your
own for only $20/mo! They know what they are doing and
never had a problem. I even convinced my boss to add a
VPS for online backup and MySQL replication. If you
want something cheaper I can really recommend !&!
(http://www.1and1.com). They are pretty cheap and a
stable company.
