Yea, sorry, I meant AMD64 bit. 
Also, I found something about SuSE 9.1 Pro in AMD 64, but I wanted to
know from someone who tried Linux in 64-bit.

I could be wrong, but I believe that IA64 usually referrers to Intel 
 
Itanium architecture, while distros generally refer to the AMD 64-bit 
 
architecture as AMD64.  You might want to be careful, since I'm pretty
