Wait a minute, Mike. How many people who have water and electricity via municipal services wouldn't have them if they were provided strictly by private companies whose sole motivation was profit? Don't get me wrong; I'm a Libertarian, and in general I'm all for the free market. In this case, though, I think that community-run services may be able to do a better job.
