The thing I like is the speed, I watched a friend use his gmail, and everything was instantaneous.
My Earthlink Web mail crawls compared to gmail, and I only get 10 MB. I only keep this account for email. Not only can you archive an entire emacs-related conversation with one click, you can google-search every post since you switched to gmail. I don't know that I'd use it as my personal account, but I wouldn't use anything else for a high-volume mailing list. ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list
