okay, i get now - the labels thingy on the left hand side shows only things
labeled as such.

the problem is that there is no way to see "everything that has no label",
so your statement above doesn't work.  if i've got lots-o-labeled stuff, and
a handful of non-labeled stuff, then it's really hard to see the non-labeled
stuff.

this is sort of lame.  am i still being dumb?  oh btw - if you want a gmail
acct, send me an email (jcoates at gmail) and i'll give you one.  i've got a
few.
