This conversation is probably useful for people already using a Mac to
try and figure out the best way to do it, but it is almost useless to
somewhat who just bought a Mac today (like me). Too many new terms and
new software being thrown around. What I need is a step by step process.
Can anyone point me to such site?

I find that just using Boot Camp is worth the initial hassle. It's
much faster, plus I don't have to clutter up my Mac side with all that
PC software. :-) I'm currently running the 9.3 student evaluation
copy under Windows 7 on my 13" MacBook Pro using Boot Camp and I
haven't had any problems. It's not the fastest machine for ArcGIS, but
it's faster than it would be under software emulation...

The biggest problem I have is dealing with the Mac NTFS issue. I hate
having to use a dedicated fat32 drive to transfer files from the mac
side to my big NTFS drive.

Cheers,
Chris
