You may have forgotten that storm has not not been serving
licenses since December. After I upgraded linux, an attempt to
upgrade the license server broke the OS. I got pissed at gave
up. So storm.ess.washington.edu (also known by a couple other
ess.washington.edu aliases) is not a license server. We are down
to two campus-wide license servers, and we are very grateful to
those who keep them running.
