I only did the mod for the sound and not a increase in performance. I did
not expect a decrease however. Yea I feel like a real smart guy by drilling
through the caps( what was I THINKING ^%$@#%). I thought about removing the
caps and tac welding 5 small disks on the backside. Then ,just tonight ,I
drilled out four of the rivits on the left then broke the bit off in the
5th(son-of-a !!!). As far as the shims and the needles and the springs, come
on!!!. I drilled holes in the caps for pete's sake, think what I could do to
four carb's !!! I just want my nice,strong, stock vmax back, is that so
wrong ? ;>) Thanks for all the input!, Ross L
