I the stock exhaust mod on my '97.
NO NEEDLE ADJUSTMENTS YET brass plugs still in.
Worked great sounds great runs great.
I have the BLACK end caps if you want to put them
back on yours I will send them to you.
But I just don't see how you could of hurt performance
doing it.
