This is not a flame and it is not my intention to offend anyone or
start a glut of hate email .. however ....
I think it is unfortunate that if this is so critical to these four
people that any complaint in that regard would be posted to the
technical list ... and why now ?? If it is too late .. then it is too
late ... and this does not seem like the proper forum to make such a
presentation.
I know there is a lot of material on this list that can be contributed
and I put together a bunch of shorties recently that missed the window
anyhow because the publication is apparently in the works already.
Soooooooo .. the only value of posting information in regard to this
publication ... on this list ... would be to encourage everyone to
contribute when they can.
I think a lot can be done to improve this situation and perhaps in the
future the directors can "help" by canvassing their own areas,
(individual members), for material or looking for volunteer
"reporters" ......... Sometimes .. such pleas are helpful if they are
made before the issue becomes critical ... it is doubtful that any one
person can be expected to develop all the material for every
publication .. I think that no matter who does it .. they will need
the assistance of the directors to manage the material flow on a
timely basis.
Politics of the organization does not belong here ..... and to the
best of my knowledge this is not really a VMOA technical list... nor
is VMOA membership a requirement. IMHO as always ....
