Of course you do ... there is a lot of material here ... so just start
whipping everyone earlier for the next publication ... we are all
crying about what has already happened .... There are a lot of people
who have stuff they would like to contribute but they don't because it
is a lot of trouble, it takes time and a lot don't feel comfortable
writing it up or they worry that someone is going to jump their case
if they are not 110% technically accurate and/or aren't revealing an
"accepted" concept ... soooooooooo ... I guess we just have to try
harder to squeeze the "idea" out of them, (or pick up the stuff that
is already laying around .. tachs ... blowers .. inverted forks ..
etc), and write it up ourselves .... we can email the players or call
them on the phone to get the technical details and tell the story they
want to tell. The shorties that I wrote up at the last minuet and then
set aside because I had missed the window were all infact items from
this list ...... and I wrote them that way ... It is not that "hard"
to simply write something up and say .... "Joe X at the scene of the
accident noticed that Mario only had 18 pounds of air in his tire" etc
... "Paul said he should have had 36, Don wanted 40 and the owners
manual says 18 pounds was too much !!" .... see what I mean ??!? .....
Chill out ... get over it .. move on ...... find someone in your
region that wants to be a reporter ....... encourage all your Director
buddies to do the same .. and manage the time line ......... send hate
mail to this list earlier in the cycle ... and ... Smile ... ;>) ...
be a leader ... get us some more parts .......... (take a herd of
Vmaxes over to Two Bros and burn rubber in their parking lot until
they agree to give us a discount !!) .....
